Overview:

Working in close liaison with design and development engineers, senior managers and other stakeholders, key responsibilities will include;

• Organisation and completion of necessary type approvals
• Ensuring compliance to relevant product standards
• Liaison with technical services and approval authorities
• Coordination of product risk assessment and FMEAs
• Compilation and maintenance of technical construction files and documentation
• Guidance on current and future legislative requirements and effects
• Liaison with sales on regional variations and homologation requirements

 

In addition to a strong engineering and product legislation background, the ideal candidate will:

• Be educated to HND/Degree level in an associated engineering discipline (or equivalent career experience), ideally pursuing Chartered Engineer status
• Possess excellent organisational and business interface skills
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence change
