Educational Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Computer Engineering

Experience Required:

Background in mobile and off-highway equipment
Design of electrical control and power distribution systems
Hands-on experience with prototype construction and manufacturing support
Understanding of mechanical system,  hydraulic systems, and engines
Electro-hydraulic control system design
Experience working in an ISO manufacturing environment
Application of sensor for pressure, force, temperature, acceleration, or position
Demonstrated analytical skills
Basic knowledge of power electronics
Capability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical and electronic control systems
Exposure to vehicle communication (CAN protocols) a plus

Electrical circuit design
Data Acquisition

Principal Duties:

Create electrical schematics
Select electrical components and design electrical systems for new products
Design vehicle wire harness
Interact with hydraulic, mechanical, engine, reliability, and safety experts to provide desired control system operation
Interface with vendors and other internal departments
Identify and resolve design and system problems
Develop component qualification requirements and assist with test programs
Provide electrical system support for other Company manufacturing sites.
